Black women, don't allow yourself to become the tools of the people celebrating the " coming out " of the Collins N.B.A. player. Make no mistake about it. YOU are the true target audience of this. And the intent is for you to perpetuate the myth that NO black man can be trusted, even if you've been in a stable relationship with him for a long time. Haven't we seen this trick before ?

Personally, I stay too busy doing fruitful things to worry about what other people do in bed, and I don't believe that every other man is gay, as some suppose. However, as is the case with Oprah Winfrey's exaggerated D.L. stuff, and the ascention of Tyler Perry, this is just another attempt, truthfully, to indirectly use black women with justifiable frustrations from past relationships to be agents of the black family's destruction.

In the most basic sense, there are three classes in society. ( 1 ) A ruling class, ( 2 ) the peasant class, and ( 3 ) a dummy class . # ( 1 ) craftily uses the media to manipulate #s ( 2 ) and ( 3 ).The media elite are masterfully using this tactic, in the same way that they use others. The TRUE architechs of trashy rap music, for example, know that black youth from stable family units don't listen to this music, or if they do, they don't model their lives after it. Most of the people who are destined to fill the vacancies that exist in private prisons are black and brown men from unstable families. Most teenage pregnancies, another driving force of inescapable poverty, are the by-product of sexuality fostered within cultures crafted by ganster rap music ( which has a hidden hand behind it ). And there are plenty of right wing blogs that make strange distinctions between the murder of Trayvon Martin, as opposed to innocent whites who are killed by aggressors. INDEED, THE BLACK FAMILY IS UNDER ATTACK !

Making a dirty buck is the true driver of Collins being put into the spotlight. Just watch. More Madea figures are probably on their way, and certainly, films where the main character is some " DL " black man that tortures women. Therefore, gay Black people should not be abandoned by their families and communities, but they should not be used by hurt or misguided women to perpetuate negative stereotypes of black men.

Don't fall for the trap.

Well, I have two books coming out in a future near you. I just decided that my first book will be a book of poetry, something my father was masterful at. Now that I've discovered that I inherited Pop's literary swagg, I'll share the first two poems I've ever written ( within the last two days ). The relieved a lot of stress, therefore, this book will be written without effort.

THE HONORABLE JOHN C. LIU, 2013 NYC MAYORAL CANDIDATE, IS TRULY A MAN OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, FOR THE PEOPLE.

 In 2006, this website was merely an idea. I wondered whether learning how to blog was a waste of energy. After all, people in the media were allowing me to spam them with various opinions, whether they agreed with them or not. To my great surprise, the rewards of persistence have taken what was an unknown blog in the wilderness to heights I never dreamed of.

I must admit, however, that I overextended myself over time, and inevitable burnout caused me to blog much less as time progressed. Well, as was the case in 2006 - ? , it is time to pick things back up. Too many noteworthy things are occurring in the United States and the World at large. One such event of grave importance is the attempt of the man pictured above to win the 2013 NYC Mayoral race. Take my word for it ; If I had any shadow of a doubt that this man is sincere, and has the ability to make a positive impact on NYC, and the country at large, I wouldn't be writing about him at this moment. Listen to the announcement made above, then make a judgement call about what lives in his mind, and heart as well.

How many of us have humiliating memories of parents working in sweatshops. Well, I do. My grandmother's " sweatshop " was the laundry room of rich whites in the South. She washed clothes all of her life to support four children ( two boys, and two girls ). And even though my grandfather succumbed to cancer in his early 40s, my grandmother did a fine job of raising her children ( with the love and support of the surrounding community ). In turn, she helped others raise their children. Indeed, it does take a village. Before her death, she repeatedly said that " I hope I live long enough to see these people hand you a high school diploma. " Unfortunately, she didn't witness this in the flesh, but I could feel her spirit as I walked across the rusty football stadium platform to receive my diploma. " Within that otherwise useless piece of paper lived love, struggle, and triumph.

Comptroller Liu, who studied Mathematical Physics in high school, could be practically anywhere, doing anything. However, from time to time, special pedigrees of people find ways to shine light into a dark World. In the East, individual and group well-being are one and the same. This has become a far cry from what our communities used to be. Remember how people who didn't know their next door neighbors were considered " strange " by people within a community. Remember how people who didn't pass out candy while children flooded the streets to " trick or treat " were considered to be strange. Well, life is stranger than fiction, and that strange person has become every person in our communities. Many forces are to blame for this, including the creation of hopelessness created by vultures who have exploited the people's trust for their own selfish agendas. No, no politician should be viewed as a savior, but some should be viewed as wolves, and others should be viewed as people who will use their powers to guard the " hen's nest. "

John C. Liu is such a man. He will never " sell out " , and for this reason, he deserves to be the next Mayor of New York City.

One of the reasons that traveling is my all-time favorite endeavors is due to two extremes. I LOVE to see what is meant to be seen. But I love what is NOT meant to be seen even more. Whether it be Jamaica, Charleston, SC, or Daytona Beach, Fla, if you travel at least two or three miles inland, you'll see people, places, and conditions the local political figures would rather keep hidden.

 I'll never forget the time I " accidentally ".....uhmmm,.....strayed away from the Dolphin Beach Inn of Daytona Beach, and went inland towards Deland, FLA ( Right turn at the intersection between Daytona and Ormond Beach ). While there, I ran upon the poorest of poor people having a cookout. I stopped to ask them " where I could have a non-tourist-like " good time. In no time whatsoever, I was in their midst as if I'd grown up with the people there.  I left at about 9 p.m., because they warned me about the police stopping tourist who regularly " shopped " in Deland for prostitutes and drugs ( F.Y.I.  This is the place where, until this day, some serial killer has killed several prostitutes, and has yet to be caught ). They were still partying hard, and to show my gratitude for their hospitality, I brought them two cases of corona, beer that most of them said they'd never drank. These types of people will always be the ones nearest and dearest to me.

Everything in nature has cycles. The weather, ocean tides, moon phases, fertility cycles, circadian rhythms, and many other things bear witness to this. So is the case with human traits such as motivation, awareness, and activity. Likewise, activism shifts from brief calls to action, mundane states of inactivity, and various in-between states. However, there are some principles that activists must have that are constant. These principles are permanent personality traits that do not fluctuate with excitement and boredom.

Things such as courage, valor, honor, dignity, humility are priceless qualities that any human being can possess. The glue that ties all of these qualities together must be DISCIPLINE. Disciplined people are becoming a rare breed. This is unfortunate, because focus is needed to be a great soldier, comrade, and activist, and it is also a trait that elders and guides must have to properly vet individuals who claim to have the interests of our people in their heart.
 

The trained eye needed to properly vet battle-ready individuals from a weak and dwindling pool of would-be activists takes years to develop. So in this late hour, the time to properly vet and cleanse movements, organizations, and individuals of high stature is of preeminence in our struggle to control our own financial, cultural, educational, and transnational destiny.

Most sane people will agree that if you enslave individuals and groups mentally, the behavior that ensues will please the master very well. Dogs can be trained to live with cats. Is this not a testament to the power of psychology ?

Since all liberation begins with a battle between the oppressed and their owners to control their identity, freedom is a two edged sword. PERCEPTION OF SELF ALWAYS PRECEDES GROUP BEHAVIOR, AND BEHAVIOR DIRECTLY INFLUENCES HOW OTHERS REGARD A GROUP. Therefore, the Trojan Horse of destruction comes in many disguises. 



Therein lies the threat that this new " conscious community " culture presents to the Pan-African and Black Nationalist movement.

Why do people take Fox News propaganda seriously ? I mean, really. I understand that corporate media outlets have agendas, but the consequences of dumbing-down a populace have long-term consequence. And the United States is prime Real Estate for people who look to sow seeds of stupidity within the electorate.

So, the Tea Party people who hate Socialism live in the places that benefit from " Socialism " the most. So even IF he were a " Socialist " or " Social Justice " guy ( which he isn't, otherwise, Mitt Romney would have told you guys during the debates ), poor Southern whites would be wise to be respectful of the things he's done to help them. Right ?

Think again.

This will not be a long entry. Writing about the harm that Fox News is doing by making the ill-informed public more illiterate is exhausting. Bill O'Reilly thought that it was " bizarre " for Barack Obama to claim the the price of gas was lower in 2008 due to the sluggish economy. Keep in mind that O'Reilly is a HARVARD GRADUATE, and a poster boy for grade inflation we've all heard about.

OPEC SETS THE PRICE OF GAS ! TRUST ME ! GAS PRICES ARE SOLD ON AN INTERNATIONAL MARKET. DEMAND BY THE EXPANDING ECONOMIES OF CHINA AND INDIA ARE MAJOR DRIVING FORCES OF HIGH PRICES, BECAUSE THERE IS NO OBLIGATION FOR OIL COMPANIES IN THE U.S. TO RESTRICT SALES TO CONSUMERS WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.

OIL PRODUCTION WAS UP IN 2008, AND CONSUMPTION WAS DOWN IN THE U.S. THE CONSUMPTION WAS DOWN DUE TO THE RECESSION, AND THE PRICES, ALTHOUGH HIGH ON THE WORLD MARKET, HAD TO DROP IN THE U.S. NOW THAT THE ECONOMY IS BETTER, MORE PEOPLE ARE BUYING MORE GAS. 

THIS HAS RESULTED IN US PAYING HIGHER PRICES OVER TIME, BECAUSE THE PRICE OF GAS IS HIGH ALL ACROSS THE PLANET.

AND GUESS WHAT ELSE BILL ? OIL COMPANIES HAVE THE GOVERNMENT IN THEIR POCKET. THAT'S WHY THEY CAN COMMAND OIL SUBSIDIES, DESPITE THE BILLIONS IN PROFITS THEY MAKE EACH YEAR !

Words to the wise. If you drink the Fox News cool aid, please have the local EMS folks on speed-dial.

One morning years ago, I was late for some engagement, and I was struggling to tie my tie, tie my shoes, etc VERY quickly. I jokingly thought to myself that " if god would tie my shoes, I'd be good to go. " Later that day, I began to think seriously about the silent " joke " I thought about in jest to the situation. 

Most of the answers to the problems we have are inside of ourselves, and since nobody will ever be more intimate with us than my own conscious, finding god and finding oneself are one and the same.

READING TO LEARN vs. READING TO READ

Let's pretend we have 10 crayons. 5 are brown, 3 are green, and 2 are silver. We need to learn as much about all 10 crayons as possible.

Well, since only two of the crayons are silver, wouldn't it be easiest to begin by learning FINE details about the two silver crayons, then just knowing that the other eight crayons are either brown or green ?
 

Next, it would be best to add a little more material into the matrix of what we're studying. Why not add the 3 green crayons into the picture, rather than the 5 brown ones ? Now, we study the FINE details of the 3 green crayons, TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING THOUGHT ABOUT THE TWO SILVER CRAYONS WE'VE STUDIED. We would now be in a good position to revisit square one, and review what we know about the 2 silver crayons in more detail ?

Why ?

Due to the fact that we NOW know a LITTLE bit about the 3 green crayons, WHEN WE ADD DETAIL TO WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE 2 SILVER CRAYONS WE BEGAN STUDYING, we have a SMALL BACKDROP OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE 3 GREEN CRAYONS. Thus, comparisons and contrasts between the silver and green crayons can be made.

At this point, everything is a downhill battle.

Take the 5 brown crayons, which are the majority, and study them. WHILE STUDYING THEM, YOU'LL FIND YOURSELF SPONTANEOUSLY MAKING COMPARISONS AND CONTRASTS WITH THE OTHER CRAYONS. This will in turn make the effort of making comparisons and contrasts between ALL THREE SETS VERY TIME EFFICIENT.

This is the way children in the good schools are being taught. This is the polar opposite of how children in the inner cities and rural southern schools are taught. So learning to read is only ONE HALF OF THE BATTLE OF MAKING OUR CHILDREN LITERATE. Engaging in habits that will enable them to READ AND LEARN is the other side of the coin.

IN REGARD TO THE INFAMOUS " UPPERCUT " VIDEO THAT HAS GONE VIRAL.

 ( THE COMMENTS REGARDING THE ABOVE VIDEO WONT WIN ME ANY POINTS WITH WOMEN. HOWEVER, THEY HOPEFULLY WILL SPARK A DISCUSSION THAT IS LONG OVERDUE IN OUR COMMUNITY ).

An unfortunate reality in the black community is that all of the standards of respectable behavior are stacked upon men. Nobody tells women that you can't use your mouth, weapons, or other men in order to emasculate other men. This is what she was attempting to do. What if, due to her childish tirade, the bush driver would have lost control of the bus ? What if he had veered into oncoming traffic, and killed a motorist or pedestrian ? Would she have behaved this way if the driver of that bus had been white ( not a chance ) ? What if the driver had been a bulky lesbian ? See ? If a tragedy had occurred as a result of this childish outburst, and putting on a minstrel show for the " audience " on the bus, she would be heavily critisized. However, since it's okay for that small minority of women who behave in this manner to emasculate men, the liberal media is making her out to be the victim.

This is what 20 years of Oprah has done.

YOU CANNOT PUT ANYONE ABOVE BEING OPEN GAME FOR CRITICISM. But this is what we have today. And in truth, this is why Madea, waiting to exhale, and other movies of this sort are blockbuster hits. The " irresponsible black man vs. the noble black women " is pretty widely accepted as being reality. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Nobody is telling impoverished women not to have 6 babies before the age of 22. In fact, if the " boys and men " abandon these children, ALL of the fault is placed on the man, but the bad decisions made by these women are not questioned. Women can routinely make false allegations of rape against men, and when the allegations are found to be false ( duke lacrosse, brian bank's shot at the NFL ruined, most of the men exonerated by the innocence project ) THE WOMEN ARE NEVER PUNISHED CRIMINALLY. The accuser of Kobe Bryant was protected by rape shield laws, which should be used on a case-by-case basis. Mike Tyson spent 3 years in jail over a fake accusation.

LET ME BE CLEAR ; men beating women isn't something to be condoned !!!!! However, this culture of black girls and women being given a pass to act and say anything, at anytime they want to, must be addressed by both men and women who want to see our communities revert to places that are full of strong families, and respectable people as well.

The thought that this nut has children is the sad thing. They'll all grow up to be just like her, the men ending up in prison, and the eventual women not being able to distinguish having a big mouth and being strong. And the cycle of poverty and despair, HIV / AIDS rates among black women being on par with women living in Kenya, and many other social ills will continue to be a blight upon all of us.

AN OPEN LETTER TO BLACK PEOPLE IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD.

NOTE : PLEASE, USE ANY MEDIUM YOU CHOOSE TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE CONTENTS OF THIS ENTRY. WHAT ISN'T BEING INCLUDED IN THIS ENTRY FAR ECLIPSES WHAT IS OPENLY STATED HERE. ONCE THE ENERGETICS OF THE GROUP HAS TRULY TAKEN ON A LIFE OF IT'S OWN, MASSIVE RECRUITMENT OF BLACK STUDENTS OF SCIENCE WILL BEGIN.

( This notice is in regard to a science oriented facebook page that is blossoming, and uniting black students of science all across the globe ).

In the midst of the worst economic holocaust since the Great Depression, it seems as if HBCUs are doing very little to prepare promising young scientists to create an industrial base that will elevate us, as a whole, into the ownership class. The days of just " getting a job ", are long gone. Unemployment statistics easily validate this claim. An already cold world is getting colder is time progresses forward.

The most skilled within our community used to be targets of multinational corporations. However, even token employment is vanishing at an alarming rate. The paradigm of empowering others with our skills WILL continue if our collective mentality isn't questioned.

Wall Street does NOT want black people to create black hair care products, lotions, or other cosmetics. The Europeans don't want us making our own clothing. Nobody wants black people to grow food or open supermarkets. Nobody wants to see the Native Americans off of the reservations, nor controlling the billion-dollar casino industry currently being controlled by people who have no genuine Native Ancestry.

The officials in the World Bank and International Monetary Fund only supply Africa's disease and poverty stricken people with medical and nursing facilities for self-serving reasons. And there isn't much interest in integration out in Silicon Valley, or on Wall Street.

 African Americans average one Senator every 100 years, and in the four years that the first black president has been in office, not one discussion about the outrageous unemployment statistics of black people has been discussed in ANY major media outlet, Liberal, Conservative, or otherwise. If white women suffered the 50% unemployment rate that black men in Detroit are " dealing with ", would there be such silence ? Of course not. Plain and simply put, some people are more American than others. 

 

The social consequences of our current circumstances are too much for many to handle. Black boys and teenagers don't aspire to be like the older black men in their communities, who oftentimes don't have two dimes to rub together, a pot to piss in, nor a window to throw the piss out of.

 

 Foreclosure, divorce, suicide, teenage truancy, drug abuse, gang violence, emasculation of bread winning men, massive incarceration into for-profit prisons, and many other forces have our community in checkmate. Nobody has real plans to level the educational curricula in the school systems. The Darian Alberts ( R.I.P. ) trapped in the inner cities are largely an urban legend in the mind of white America. And the same people who created and maintain this artificial poverty, and need for public assistance, use these conditions to garner political power by galvanizing the white racist voter. This is the sole reason that Affirmative Action ( which has only helped white women historically ) is being glamorized as something that will decrease the " discrimination " that whites experience in American society. AND ALL OF THE DECISIONS MADE IN AMERICA, FROM GOING TO WAR, DETERMINING WHO RECEIVES GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS, AND JUSTICE FOR PEOPLE SUCH AS TRAYVON MARTIN ARE MADE BY WHITES. Black people are little more than little boys and girls in American society.

Despite all of these insults to our dignity, HBCU faculty and staff members seem oblivious to the importance of seizing the scientific birthright that Benjamin Banneker, George Washington Carver, Charles Drew, and many other black scientists created for us. Therefore, the wisdom of keeping the science programs at HBCUs active is VERY questionable. THEY SHOULD BE ELIMINATED, OR THEIR FOCUS SHOULD BE UPDATED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF MINORITIES LIVING IN THE 21st CENTURY.

How much higher will unemployment rates and student loan debt need to rise before serious discussions about the dismal future of black people be addressed ? What about issues that pertain to students of brown, red, and yellow complexioned ethnic groups studying at Historically Black Colleges and Universities ?

 

Prospective AND current students of science and engineering, and other disciplines offered at HBCUs must make well-informed decisions about how each HBCU defines " blackness " and success. Finally, ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR MUST RAISE CHILDREN TO VIEW THE WORLD FROM A SCIENTIFIC VANTAGE POINT.

Over the years, HBCU and traditional college students will gain and give scientific input within this site. Within the year, I will share the current contents of this sites with the Atlanta based Consulate General of the great African Nation of Liberia. I spoke at length to the assistant to the Consulate General ( New York, NY ), and she was as excited as I am about the doors that scientific literacy can open for our youth. I've established similar ties with people doing great work within Ghana. Within two to three years, I hope to jump start once-a-year science fairs whose attendants will be youth, age 10 to 15, from the U.S. and the host country abroad. In addition to enjoying science together as youth, in as few as 10 years, youth participants will be adults that go on to form political, economic, and industrial ties that transverse the oceans. Lifelong friendships will develop, political and business partnerships will blossom, and courtship which leads to strong marriage and family ties that span the globe will flourish. The transfer of scientific energy in this site is already taking on a life of its own, and there is nowhere to go but up.

Last, but not least, this is by no means a site that is only inclusive of science. This is a site about science, but it is one where reasonable discourse about any topic pertaining to our well being is concerned. The people that are here are diverse. There are Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, those with Indigenous beliefs, a myriad of beliefs, and yes, this site is tolerant of people who have no religious preferences as well. It is the author's belief that wise people make mistakes, but very few repeat them, because they learn from mistakes. Therefore, things that are in the interest of putting us on par with our European counterparts are of interest, and things that made us fall so far behind must be abandoned. With each advance of the stated agenda, made via myself, a member of this site, or through an institution, people across the globe who regularly read my website will be made aware of these advances. Though we are many, we are one.

NOTE : I want for it to be clear that this is NOT a formal organization. Like myself, many members here have founded their own organizations, or many are part of ones that have been around for decades. It is only with very careful contemplation that I add members to this site, and rest assured that only people that I perceive to be the best and brightest representatives of their organizations, their schools, or their individual ambitions are here. If you are a newcomer, you are in very good company.

The clowns of Fox News will give hatred of Obama a pass until the cows come home. The Tea Party will hate him until the cows come home. All of the enemies of black people will hate Obama until the cows come home. You black people hating on Obama, and thumbing your nose at voting should hold your head low out of shame. You're no different than the niggers that killed Malcolm, and no less of an enemy than the vermin mentioned above.

FLOAT LIKE A BUTTERFLY, STING LIKE A BEE, THAT'S OBAMA'S STRATEGY, WHY CAN'T YOU SEE ?

How could Obama have been so unprepared for the debate ? Why did Mitt Romney sting Obama so easily ? How much of a bump will Romney get for his debate performance ? Well, whatever the answers to these questions may be, they won't matter after the second and third debates. This is what is known as " strategy. "

Mitt Romney threw all of his best punches. This is VERY unwise ( and predictable ) for one who doesn't have natural smarts. He unwittingly has fallen for the same trap the Muhammad Ali used to set for his overly ambitious opponents.

The Obama team know the history of presidential debates. Mitt Romney either doesn't know, or he chose to ignore them. The Obama team was hip to two things that will give Obama the victory after the debating is over. ( 1 ) Incumbent presidents NEVER do well in the first debate against a challenger. This has been pointed out by both Liberal and Conservative Presidential Historians. ( 2 ) Mitt Romney HAD to perform well, and this HAD to be inclusive of a demonstration of not being " soft. " Therefore, Obama had NOTHING to lose by laying low, and allowing Mitt Romney to give the Obama team a ton of information that will be used against him VERY effectively. It amazes me how Conservatives have yet to figure this out.

The Obama team is already manipulating the psychology of the masses by pointing out inconsistencies in Mitt Romney's statements. The public is being informed that Mitt Romney said many inaccurate things, and he still didn't lay out any specifics regarding issues such as which loopholes he would close. Obama VISIBLY had to restrain himself from jumping on this with full-force. Does anyone believe that Obama won't have a field day with Romney's mistakes during the second debate ? The attack ads are already having a cooling effect on Romney's illusion of a great performance. In less than two days, the excitement stirred up by Fox News and company will have dissipated, and those of us who perceive what will happen during the next debate will simply sit back and wait for the impending slaughter. It will be a delight to behold !
