The ascention of Liberia must be accompanied with symbiotic relationships with investment ventures.

The Pan-African community; not people, our community is a World.

If the fabric of a conversation I engaged in recently was accurate, NGOs are doing great work in Liberia. Analogous to this, arguably, is the role of crutches in the process of allowing a broken leg to heal. The crutches are a great asset, but they should be used as aids to help the injured person regain the strength to walk independently. Likewise, NGOs in Liberia ( and elsewhere in the Motherland ) should be regarded by up-to-date governments in the same light. Even if an NGO's intentions seem noble, this asymmetric dependency allows enemies of true freedom to plan and develop parasite vs. host ties.

First and foremost, no modern African Nation should sell raw materials ( ivory, copper, gold, silver, diamonds, zinc, petroleum, iron ore, diamonds, etc. ) to anyone. Why ? Because prosperous nations export finished products on the World's markets. Many African Nations export raw materials to nations that often end up re-selling the refined products of the raw materials back to these African Nations ; products that the African Nation could have produced itself. TALK ABOUT ECONOMIC SUICIDE ! This practice is an offshoot of the mass psychology of dependence created by the long-term existence of NGOs in African Nations. Nobody, citizens or government officials, even contemplate building or producing anything independently.

Secondly, outside investment in African countries must become of EQUAL benefit to both parties. The building of hospitals, factories, pharmaceutical companies, etc. can create employment opportunities that otherwise would not exist. However, historical parasite vs. host relationships created by investment can be avoided by strict adherence updated principles denoted below.

First, transfers of information must ALWAYS accompany the creation of any investment enterprise. GIVING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE JOBS IS NOT ENOUGH ! Transfers of information enable employed indigenous people to eventually become employers and creative pioneers ; engineers, architects, health-care workers, educators, financial experts, clothing manufacturers, farming personnel, shipping merchants, pilots, military scientists, researchers, security personnel, etc., etc., etc. . When transfers of information do not occur, the parasite must be included in economic expansion of any kind. If the people native to the lands of Africa do not maintain the astronomical pace of learning occurring in Nigeria and Ghana, for example, FIRST-WORLD EXCELLENCE WILL NEVER BECOME REALITY. Independence will NEVER arrive. The NGO's " crutches " will be used to walk in perpetuity. THIS NEED NOT EVER BE THE CASE.

Similarly, AFRICAN GOVERNMENTS CANNOT CONTINUE TO ENGAGE IN PARASITE VS. HOST ECONOMIC TIES WITH ANYONE. When investments are made ( in a factory that employs one-thousand people, for example ), it is economic suicide for no native person to own any shares of stock in the investment enterprise. The influx of money that comes with job creation MUST cease to be looked upon as a blessing if it is not paired with stock ownership by NUMEROUS native people. China, Japan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, America, the Dutch, etc. would NEVER allow a Liberian company to set-up shop in their countries without teaching local tribes and village workers how to build, and arranging symbiotic, transparent investment that is inclusive of their nations. So there is no excuse for Liberian government officials to use, for example, a twenty-year time period to slowly decrease dependency on NGOs while simultaneously empowering the country with information that will make the presence of NGOs unnecessary.

Finally, true meritocracies modeled after countries like France must develop. The cost of attending college must NOT be artificially high, making some groups of people able to advance their talents, and others remaining stuck in poverty. Low unemployment must TRUTHFULLY be a priority. Balanced budgets must maintained by law. SPECULATIVE PRACTICES COMMON TO THE UNITED STATES AND EUROPE MUST NOT EXIST. EVERYONE must begin playing on a level playing field as far as primary education is concerned. THERE MUST BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR VIOLENT CRIME, HARD DRUG USAGE, AND MONEY SWINDLING. THESE PRACTICES DESTROY THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OFF OF TOURISM IN THE FUTURE. Emphasis must be placed upon the type of aesthetics and beauty that make places such as Shanghai, Tokyo, and Dubai marvels across the World. It's not enough to create beautiful houses, yet allow the streets, markets, and night-life districts dusty and unattractive. Pockets of poverty must NOT exist. People who cause division in the name of religion must be treated as enemies of a state, and dealt with accordingly. The Asian World is the most secular across the planet, and they're beginning to rule the planet. There's nothing stopping BLACK African Nations from following in their footsteps.

In the future, I will actively engage African heads-of-state in conversations regarding the elements of this post, now that my voice is familiar to leaders across the planet.
